>>10758199I mean if there's nothing else to talk about, sure. I'm not a fan of necrobumping long past a thread's expiration date, though maybe I'm not on the best board for that opinion, as there seems to be quite a lot of that going on here.
>I like Aqua's design. It really is a solid design, even if the idea of a marine maid doesn't make much sense. It's not a surprise that she's so popular.
>Did you know that a large portion of dinosaurs were closer to birds than to reptiles?I'd read that, but it still happens that I think of them as lizards when imagining them. Can't break old habits and all that. Seems like a pretty niche topic for YT, though. Which channels did you watch for that?
>Is it a point and click kind of thing? Something which is more of a puzzle than your standard VN?Yes and yes. It's more about finding pieces of info as you go than, say, a dating sim. There's still some plain story in it, though.
>is there even more to it?I'm not really sure. Guess I'll find out when I play the game. There's an English translation available for free online, but it should give me extra motivation to play it in the native tongue.
>What exactly makes his stuff hard to top?If you remember, I've mentioned that the problem with much of Japanese animation is they're often barely animated in terms of motion. His works, however, are not just animated well, but they also go the extra mile to make it as realistic as possible. They can be almost like watching a real movie, because of this. And I think this is why they're so popular - because people that may not care much about animated movies can still enjoy it. If I had to guess, this is because he was influenced by early Western animation, making it comparable in many ways.
>I want to read this manga called Natsu no Zenjitsu.Hmm, I'll have to take a look at it. Lmk what you think of it once you do.
