Satan or the serpant is a coming of age story about the time you will rebel against authority, (your parents) and while it is not a great time for both, IT IS A NECESSARY evil and starts you on the hard path to becoming independent. That is the only way you can then have your own family, when you grow up realize good and evil comes from within, not above or below.
