I think the average human being in every society and culture has had a heavy focus on education and intelligence but I never see or hear them, even in ancient written records from ancient written civilizations, they have an emphasis on just those two concepts but never sapience which is a component of intelligence unique only to human beings.
What gives us the ability as a homo sapien species to form civilizations, spoken and written languages, knowing right from wrong, having the abilities to conceptualize complex ideas and formulate ethics and religion isn't having intelligence alone, chimpanzees are the most highly intelligent non human species of animals I can think of (as we share about 99% of our DNA with them along with bonobos) but they don't have a conscious or form complex ideas or conceptualize philosophies and movements, all they do is form pacts and are just killing machines and even kill for torture and pleasure.
People Having higher intelligence than other human beings is completely useless if you cannot or do not want to display your sapience to society that shows you're an ethical or reasonable person, a human being with only intelligence and no display of sapience is just a chimp in my eyes.
there's people running around this floating rock in space, that are intelligent but don't display an appropriate level of human sapience, examples I think I could point out are niggers, white trash people, tribalistic people such as black Americans or racialized dark skinned people in western countries, they may be intelligent and have human bodies but they don't display the sapience to show wisdom or love or compassion except within their own racial group which to me makes me sick up to my stomach, that's nothing but pure animal behavior that isn't conducive to a healthy society in my honest opinion.
