>>18248348>>18248425>>18248492Though initially dumbstruck and unsure what to make of Miss USA's entrance (dressed as Priscilla Divine, for some unfathomable reason), her uncertainty is gone in a flash when Miss USA uses her as a human shield to deflect the piece of cake hurled by Sapphire, and rage floods into her at this sudden act of betrayal. (That Sapphire is the one who broke the peace by throwing the cake to begin with doesn't seem to occur to Colby.)
>"Is THIS your idea of a TRUCE, MISS UMA!?!? YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE!"If Colby Jefferson had the ruthlessness that was supposed of the Divine Angels, or was not so worried about not causing (more) of a scene and ruining the party that Amy had thrown for her, it might have occurred to her that there were three, maybe four Divine Angels in the room AND the Yellow Empress, and this could take a very bad sudden turn for Miss USA. However, that kind of viciousness isn't in her nature; furthermore, her thin silk dress wouldn't hold up well in a fight, and the slit in the side means that one wrong move in the heat of battle would have her showing so much bush that Miss USA would feel compelled to run out of there, find a polling place, and vote to re-elect it president.
For these reasons, her anger at this perceived betrayal takes on a far more ridiculous form. Colby whips off her large party hat, which has caught the brunt of the cake, and starts beating Miss USA with the floppy headgear ineffectually.

>"YOU'RE RUINING THE PARTY AMY THREW FOR ME!! CUT IT OUT!! SAY YOU'RE SORRY!!"(OOC: I'm working ALL DAY tomorrow and may have one more post in me, AT BEST, before having to cut it off. Probably not even that. Y'all will have to take the wheel; please feel free to use Colby in the continuation of these scenes in any way appropriate.)
