After such a grueling match, Sola Fire needs a few minutes privacy to shower, change, and get looked at by the trainers, and so Carmody Jefferson goes down the hall. After a quick restroom break, she stops by a vending machine, buys a cheap, sugary drink, and takes a refreshing swig of it. As she reflects on the match just happened, and how Sola fared in it, she's completely unaware of a presence encroaching nearby. She sighs, thinking about Colby's match coming up next. Colby always had this weird issue with Miss USA, and evidently it had gotten really serious now. Colby wasn't answering her calls or texts again.
Carmody shrugs and takes another sup of her drink. Hopefully Sola was all right after that battle she'd just fought, and hopefully things could be mended with her friends in Warhorse. Carmody thinks of texting her, but realizes she probably won't be ready yet. She'll get in touch in a few more minutes.
