for really really cold days I have a sheepskin long coat. its HEAVY, but its super warm. (pic related). mine is nowhere near as good as condition as pic related, but ive had it for over 20 years. my brother gave it to me a long time ago. its tough, its very durable. ive been hunting and backcountry skiing, snowmobiling with it. it probably weighs 20lbs mind you! but I would bet it against any modern coat.
