>"Well, Lillith, to me it looks like you probably burned it a little, huh? But you like it that way?"She doesn't want to hurt Lillith's feelings, though. And really, who is Andi Kestrel to judge anything? Lillith's cooking was made with a kind heart and good intentions, and all the ingredients here came from the Earth that they shared together. Wasn't it maybe time to open up her heart and mind, and trust in love and Mother Nature rather than her own limited and imperfect senses?
>"Here, maybe let's share a little. I'll try some of yours and you try some of mine."Andi bisects her cheese omelette with grass and slides a portion of it onto a plate, which she hands to Lillith. Then she scrapes up a few of the least burned bits from Lillith's plate. Isn't this what it was all about? Friendship, having good times, in the kitchen, digging each other's company, and sharing good times and bad? What could possibly be wrong with that? She smiles and takes a big mouthful of the portion she'd had from Lillith's plate.
How bad could it be?
