>>10217728There is no "cure" for depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar, etc etc. Mental illnesses are l-life long; everyone gets sad or angry or deals with the death of loved ones, but those with actual mental issues are going to have them forever.
That said, "only"? The only metric that m-matters is quality of life; they improve peoples lives and help them be the best people they can be. How we react to mental illness, and how severe it impacts us, is the most important part. Learning coping mechanisms that prevent panic attacks, for example, dramatically raise the quality of life in those who are anxious, to the point many declare themselves "cured", even though they obviously get anxious from time to time.
If a mental illness isn't bothering you, after all, it's not requiring treatment or diagnosis. It's part of the diagnosis, in fact, that it must cause you harm <4
That said, I don't think you act like a woman or a man in particular.
