What if porn wasn't the problem, but maybe instead a reflection of mainstream cultural flaws and weaknesses. Contemporary culture is ugly. Contemporary culture is neutered, sterilized, and fragmented. Removing porn only causes a pool of unfocused, potentially angry energy that probably is best off left directed towards porn until this society either actually makes being a participant in it tolerable - at the very least. A sincere acknowledgement of past wrongs and an apology would go a long way, but, well, fuck that.
