>Laid-off May 2023, outsourced to Jeets>Put in over 100 applications until Sept>Like 2 interviews, no hires (obviously)>Staffing Agency hiring for Spectrum NOC calls back>Agent likes my resume, thinks I have a good shot to get hired>Account Manager (Staffing Agency side) likes my resume, thinks I have a good shot to get hired>Resume sent over to Spectrum HR>Spectrum HR: "Unfortunately we just hired someone, but we like your resume, and will be re-posting this exact job in the next 2-3 weeks, so re-apply then">2-3 weeks go by, Agent calls me back, asking if I want to re-apply>Say yes>Everything is streamlined, as Agent and Account Manager already know about me>Spectrum HR: "Actually we find that you dont meet our preferred requirements, and thus decided that we would rather keep the position empty rather than hire you">The fuck, YOU are the one who told me to re-apply?>Position was 6 month contract, with potential to convert to permanent, so no real risk for hiring me, as they can let me go in 6 months if I actually dont know shit>Position had negotiable pay rate, and I was not at the minimum, so I could lower it if they were thinking it was too risky>Agent and Account Manager literally have no idea why Spectrum HR is wasting their time if they arent even going to interview an applicant who meets their minimum requirements and there is literally no one else applied>None of that matters, I am worth literally less than nothingNot often do you get told to go kill yourself in a professional manner. Obviously the job was being reserved for a nigger. Makes me glad that I have only ever shit-talked Spectrum Internet for years, and now I know why.
