You do realize that arabs for example seldom achieve the same pale skin tone as we do when they live here for years? Getting a tan is just your own ability to adapt to environment. In nordic countries however a tan may be even harmful and considering Nordic countries have the least sunlight in the world, i'd expect them to have the lightest skin tone. Maybe some Scotts or gingers may have lighter skin tone than us, but that is only because of their inability to adapt to increased sunlight.
