Kanako Leichenburg Interview Tape #2
"So we brought you back here today due to some...interesting things during our background check. I don't believe you were hones-"
>I am aware. Now, theoretically, were you to find some...inconsistencies in my background check, that wouldn't be anything we can't look past, ja?
Kanako smiles, putting a briefcase on the table.
"What are yo-"
>Let me explain. Let's say you found some...connections to possible government agencies in your background check. Besides the military service, which Kanako already admitted to as part of her application. Perhaps those connections are deeper than you first thought? And very powerful people would be upset to see those exposed. But where are my manners? This is a negotiation, not a threat. You are the only one in the WWA who has seen my file yes?
"...Yes."
>Herrlich! Then there is no reason this cannot be reported as a simple error on your part.
Kanako turns the briefcase around, opening it. The briefcase is filled with money, stacks of hundred dollar bills wrapped in currency bands.
>So, I would ask you resubmit my application with all the background information on Kanako Leichenburg that I have provided. I would then ask you forget whatever name you found that may or may not be connected and quit your job. You'll have this generous donation to take with you from an anonymous source who may or may not be connected to those powerful people who may or may not have a vested interest in Kanako Leichenburg being in the WWA with no mention of whatever information you may have found during your background check.
Kanako leans back on the couch, crossing her legs.
>And if anyone in the WWA happens to suddenly know anything about what we were speaking about...Well let's just say those anonymous sources can be as cruel as they can generous. Now THAT part is a threat.
Kanako smirks, before getting too excited and making some sort of noise similar to a squeak.
