In a small cottage, sitting on a shore far, far away from Spaghetti Town, sat one Dahlia Sands, the former Queen of the beach resting and relaxing, enjoying the cool summer evening as she slowly sipped from a cup of tea. She was in a shockingly good mood for once, the usually stern and serious older woman enjoying the peace and quiet of her home. Things had been nice lately. There had (luckily) been few visitors to the beach lately. A good thing, by Dahlia's reckoning. She disliked having to deal with the various freaks and weirdos that made their way into her domain. Much like her idiot daughter, Dahlia much preferred the tranquility of her lonely beach. The fewer nutjobs around to cause trouble the better, and on quiet evenings like she, she could hear the sound of the crabsong floating on the sea breeze...

With a sigh, Dahlia set her teacup down, rising slowly to her feet, her lips twisting into a frown as she headed to the front door of her cottage. She had been watching her daughter's career quite closely, and after what Duna had been through lately, she had been expecting this visit to happen eventually. Just...not this soon.
