That's obviously just a cope by pseudo materialists who turned their mind into "God" as you correctly stated earlier. They are too weak to let go of their ego and see reality for what it is, to see what place they occupy in existence. I can see it, and even I'm too weak to deal with it but I refuse to live in a cope. Even if it's to my own detriment.
Ultimately these are both the same people. The religious coper who claims to know the mind of God and that "God gets really really angry if you don't really really believe", which is obviously a cope, and the atheist who believes his mind can unlock all the information in material reality, turning his mind into God. No such statement would the atheist utter in relation to the mind of other species. Another obvious cope.
Everyone wants to believe in their little hawk of light, even the nietzscheans who use instinct or will in the place of faith. So the actual real materialist walks alone aimlessly, hoping one day we can figure out a way forward. Once everyone stops coping. Maybe humanity just needs to cope forever.
If that's the case then voices like mine are destined to disappear. So be it.
