Dell E. Verryt strolls through the quiet morning streets. The postwoman selects the first letter from her bag and approaches the Night's Villa Mailbox.
The letter reads as follows:
Dear Ms Devlin,
I hope that this letter finds you well. You may think of me as the worst possible human being. And I would not blame you if you had invested a little bit of hate and resentment on me. If this helps ease your mind, let me guarantee you, if I had known you would be moving in, I would've never attacked the Villa.
I would like to request a couple of hours of your time. I have made a reservation in a bustling French restaurant: Jument sans tête. I think it would be of our mutual interest to align on a number of topics. Namely my undeserved bad reputation. But I would love to speak as well about other matters, such as the B1 tournament or your past life. Maybe you can even tell me some stories about the afterlife. You'll be surprised how well-acquainted I am with the topic.
Before you reject my offer, I'll let you know that there is no trick up my sleeve. I've made a reservation for tomorrow at 8 PM, there will be a sufficient number of witnesses. Take them as a promise of my good behavior.
The dress code is semi-formal, I'll wait for you inside.
With appreciation,
Raquel Durango
P.S.: Please refrain from bringing Mare Equine. Table for 2.
