They let it crab for a bit just to see what's going on, poked the embers for a bit to see if the fire would start again, but after weeks of crabbing and then the bart patterns right before the dump they realized what was happening and all started exiting. Throw in no rate cuts and inflation scares and it makes sense for the correction to happen now.
