It's my understanding that demons come from a realm where the laws are very different from ours, if they even have any laws whatsoever. So trying to make sense of it as I said is useless. Because if physics and logic don't apply here then you can very well say that a certain demon exist and doesn't exist at the same time. It's a pointless remark. I think that when they cross over to our realm they are compelled to abide our laws to a certain degree, so they lose the full potential of their power and can only keep some of it.
