I will say that if she's serious about branching out and finding someone that people shouldn't filter by red flags first, but first find someone with 'green flags' [so to speak] and get to know them, and within context or allowance those red flags won't be dealbreakers anymore.
It bothers me that these days people seem to find excuses to not co-mingle, when it was so simple years before, you'd just go out and love someone.
