Considering Canada is surprisingly so liberal it’s kind of surprising that they’re so antagonistic and ill intended towards me. You would think they would be more understanding or tolerant towards me, it doesn’t really make sense. There’s news stories about Americans wanting asylum in Canada or trying to immigrate there, and I can see somewhat how seeing the warning signs of Trump could cause them to plan ahead for when it might actually get really bad. But it’s still sort of bizarre to me.
I probably shouldn’t say it, but one impression I got from WW2 was that the left was like almost an outright war for some places. But the thing is, the impetus wouldn’t be for me to be conservative then exactly either. But when I look at my experiences with the left, I can’t help but think that somehow, it’s astounding and confusing but it makes out to almost seemingly involve a lot of conflict for me too, so it’s almost the same thing.
