>>12647908I'd say it's because many posters here are nicer than on other parts of the site. Even the ones that often have a harsh temper can be somewhat soft at times.
On other boards, it's a lot easier to go unnoticed, which is ok if you want to post something very controversial, or something you'd never feel proud of telling people in real life, but it's not really good if you want to feel like you're talking to one person rather than to 20 people acting as the same character.
