However, there're some pretty complex comix (usually termed graphic novels) out there. I think they can do what novels can do better in some ways, because, not despite, their being almost only dialog. Like how a play's just dialog, they can cut away some of the fat you would get in a novel.
>why do you dislike romance?I don't dislike it in particular, more that I can't say I've consumed it much as a genre, or really at all. I mean there're plenty of things with romance in them, but I haven't gone out of my way to look for them.
