>>20209322I would happily spend my life in Alabama if the government and the greens would get off the back of the coal industry. They even want to get rid of met coal, eventually, and replace it with much more expensive steelmaking techniques. The climate change movement (which is very cultish) needs to lose a lot of steam and be exposed for the grift that it is -- in the eyes of the general public, since so many people already know it's a scam, but the general public isn't yet fully aware of this.
Never thought I'd live in the Deep South, but this is where destiny is taking me. Here is a tidbit from an article from a couple days ago:
>Warrior Met Coal (NYSE:HCC): The Brookwood, Alabama-based company reported Q1 results with net income of $137 million, sales of $503.512 million and adjusted EBITDA of $200.2 million.>Warrior Met saw a 17% increase in production volumes for its highest quarterly production in over three years. >After investing in its Blue Creek project, it returned $30.6 million to shareholders via dividends. >Despite reduced demand and lower coal prices, the company reaffirmed its 2024 guidance.https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/warrior-met-coal-sees-production-surge-materion-updates-earnings-forecast-contango-to-acquire-highgold-and-more-thursday-s-top-mining-stories/ar-AA1o3FXv
