Anyone of you that knows of Langston Hughes? He appears to be a significant person in the american literary history, especially for his role in shaping the harlem renaissance and them defining a new black identity in america. Perhaps this is the reason she chose him as her profile picture. A gesture of solidarity, as a person of color herself, maybe a poem of his resonated deeply with her. Or because she is just a jazzy and reflective mood right now or offering her signature style of cryptic layered commentary.
