>Why does peace need to be upon him, anon? If hes at peace, why are you asking for peace to be upon him? Why am I the idiot for asking questions about' your religion?
I answered already, Allah commanded so in the Qur'an following the example of angels. And It is the right of the Prophet, (PBUH), over his ummah to pray a lot for him in response to that favor and a reward for some of his rights, peace be upon him.
Lasltly, The merit of praying upon the Prophet,(PBUH) is not attributable to the Prophet solely, , but is also attributable to the worshiper himself as mentioned in many hadiths.
>So confirm for me that this word that you just linked above doesn't mean blessings but in fact means to pray: يُصَلُّونَ? Derived from salat right? The same word in the same verse here right: صَلُّوا?
salah for the Prophet: صلى الله عليه وسلم (Peace be upon him) and it brings blessing if one's do so
>WHO IS ALLAH PRAYING TO, MUSLIM?
Allah is ordering us to follow the example of Him and His angels by praying to the Prophet (PBUH), I can't fathom what are you trying to say.
