posting over from the general, dumb long pasta but obviously they already sending a message that you will die if you come down here.
>I’m looking at his terribly shitty diving equipment wondering how he made it so far to begin with.
>That there is a $12 kids Walmart mask made to last 1 week in the summer sun.
>He also died while moving oxygen canisters underwater...from a lack of oxygen? You don’t just run out of air underwater out of nowhere. Your reg gets harder and harder to breath on your last 300 psi (especially with this old ass equipment). He should have had a computer screaming alarms at him. He should also have breathed off the oxygen tanks if he was shallow enough (like 20ft or shallower. pure oxygen ain't nothing to fuck with underwater, you need AIR.). If he was moving pure O2, I’m surprised he didn’t die from trying to breath those and getting oxygen toxicity (which is worse than drowning, or passing out from co2 poisoning). Guessing he wasn’t cave or cave rescue, or rescue certified either. Lots of mistakes happen when untrained divers fuck around in caves.
>Where the fuck are the rebreathers?
>where the fuck are the professional cave divers?
>There are probably 200 trained people in FLorida who could make this rescue happen quickly. If they don't get it together, you are going to see more deaths.
