The top down structure of orders from Russia dating back to the cold war have ultimately lead to their demise against modern doctrine of platoon individuality. Generals have been clapped in the field while giving orders to the front. That's a great way to lose all of your "experienced" units.
Pay no mind Russia will lose this war. Even more so now with the addition of Leopard II tanks from Germany and M1's from the USA. 33 of them to be exact.
They lost most of their armor in the first months of the conflict to the Javelin's sent out by the rest of the world. Russia has nobody backing them and have to fight everything on their own which means resources, money and bodies. You only have so many people and so much money to buy shit. That's why they've stooped to using Iranian drones to bomb civilian installations (completely against the Geneva conventions btw) in an attempt to push the scenario of "never fight Russia in winter" instead of a full on assault of any position.
Russia will lose.
