The ones that go for hyper realism reach that uncanny valley and they look off putting and it ruins the immersion, going about it in a rational manner knowing it's fantasy and accepting it for what it is makes it more acceptable. That said until they are self cleaning and semi autonomous androids/robots it's not really worth it because those things are a pain in the ass to clean and they weigh a lot.
