For a few moments Cassie watches the commotion with a smile on her face, before finally raising a hand and pointing toward a reporter she recognises as being behind a positive article written about Club Xtacy. “You. I’ll take your question.”
The reporter casts a smug look toward his colleagues before he begins to speak. “Thank you, Ms. Kade. My question is simple. Do you have any thoughts on your next opponent, Miss Maverick?”
Cassie smiles. “As a matter of fact, I do. Stay tuned.” Having answered two questions as promised, she then rests the mic on the table and leaves, ignoring the protests of reporters hoping to get more out of her.
