There was a silence as Holly made her demand toward Duna. The moment stretched into seconds stretched into almost a full minute, before the music of the champion finally breached the arena, and sure enough, Duna herself finally stepped into view, a microphone in one hand and her title belt draped over her shoulder. She stood tall atop the entrance stage for several more seconds, staring down toward the ramp toward Holly, before finally motioning for her music to be cut off, lifting her mic to her lips as she began to descend toward the ring.
"You're wrong."
She began, a cold, blunt tone to her words.
"I've got less to prove? No, I have **everything** to prove. I still have doubters. I still have women like *you* telling me I ain't fit to hold the belt. Telling me that I'm not a real champion, that I don't deserve it, that I 'stole a win' by taking the title in a multi-woman match by not even pinning the champion."
Step by step she made her way down the ramp, her eyes locked on Holly, never once looking away, the challenger never leaving her gaze.
"I fuckin' KNOW I'm worthy to hold the title. I KNOW I'm set to be the greatest goddamn champion this company has ever been blessed to have. But I still have to prove myself, I have to make you my statement, because it's the only fuckin' way to shut up the doubters and nay-sayers. Scared? I've got nothing to be fucking scared of.
