but certainly not the result of time nor destroying the fleshy holes they pop out of
therefore the sole reason for their evolution should be due to pollutant induced DNA mutation. It'd make the most sense that the carcinogenic toxins (and whatever else mutagen) pollution, would be the sole cause of unnatural mutations that may result in the strengthening of bug kind.
