Not everyone wants to live long enough to yet again be a burden to society and your loved ones.
Some people really like the idea of autonomy and not shitting your fucking pants. Goodness knows it isn't fucking pleasant, so really the only thing keeping you alive at that point is the fear of death.
So basically, old people are a bunch of fucking cowards, living a miserable, negative existence just so they don't have to come to terms with death.
