did Jesus die forever?
if Jesus did not die forever, then he did not pay the debt and you are dead in your sins
if the wages of sin is eternal torment
and Jesus was never eternally tormented
we too are dead in our sins, since Jesus did not pay for eternal torment with eternal torment
both eternal torment and eternal death invalidate the cross
if either are true then there can be no resserection
for if eternal torment is true, Jesus would still be on that cross to this day
and if eternal death be true, Jesus would still be in that tomb, for he would never be able to rise again from the grave since he would have to be dead FOREVER
