Some might choose to be born into comfort & wealth simply because its material aspects are appealing, perhaps thinking this will give it a better start this time around. First choice m/n be best optics for it, but free will still reigns.
▪Now, think of a soul who chooses something on the other end of the spectrum.

This haunted me. In the years which followed, I heard of other conditions I saw as unfair.
▪Yet, then it hit me.
The choice of a soul to BE that unfortunte child, m/h been a choice to help strengthen the path of its new parents' souls.

Choosing a difficult existence, even one where your time on this plane may end before it begins, w/not only benefit THAT soul, but give every person who comes to know it, in ANY way, shape or form -including hearssay- the opportunity to consider the same 'whys' I had to work out on my own.

▪I still have much to learn on this account, for, in my heart, it doesn't perfectly hold true for those born to fall into the grasp of the predator class. For those accounts, I wonder if there are *degrees* of choices a soul can make, according to what condition it was in when it last left this realm.
▪there's also the open question of whether there are those among us who appear to have NO soul. For that, I lean towards the consideration that their souls are not bound to /our/creator, but to that of its polar opposite.
