I must say, I always found Norse and Greek / Roman mythology fascinating. There also seem to be many self-proclaimed pagans on the internet. But when I look around irl, paganism doesn't exist as a religious practice. Sure, there are people who roleplay as vikings for Renaissance fairs, but there's 0 sense of community. Like, nobody gathers in the woods to sacrifice a horse to Odin or some shit. The only actual religious communities in my vicinity are Christian retirees who organize charity events or Muslims.
