>>7344444Empires and cultures rise and fall. What maters is the demographic. The original Russians are still present today, just like the modern day Romans who are now Italians. It has more to do with cohesion. As a Russian I have an easier time communicating and socializing with other Russians I meet. Socializing with Belgians is not so easy, it feels weird, even though I lived here almost my entire childhood and adulthood. Empire, USSR, current day Russia, who cares? It's about the people, having someone who has the same history, be it bad or good, and calling somewhere your home.
The thing about globalism is that it tries to destroy this cohesion and genocide different ethnicities so that no one has anything in common and everyone is a stranger to everyone else. What we lost in 1917 can be rebuild because the original Russians are still alive.
