The people that still hide it are in their 30s and 40s these days and doing it out of habit and a distaste for the memer crowd. I don't think anyone younger has anything to hide these days with stuff becoming so mainstream, even if the vast, vast majority of people are superficial about it. There's no barrier to entry, what is there to hide?
