Thing is, they can't help it. Your body is addicted to sugar and carb. It's near impossible to get your body to exercise and stop eating sugar and carb. It's not that they are too lazy to exercise, but they're too sick that their brain refuses to. You put them on a ketogenic diet and fix their metabolism, they start hitting the gym 3 times a day.

Poor diet, lack of exercise, thyroid and digestive systems affected for the most part.

Cultural & Environmental factors also include the lead up to obesity. Their mental health is the byproduct of poor diet.

Poor food education plays a factor too. So much rubbish corn syrup & processed sugars in foods.

Exercise to some degree with balanced diet and good education will alleviate obesity.

As a fat myself, here's some insight. I know eating too much is seriously wrong, I know there's an issue with me, but it's like I can't stop. Know how drug addicts relapse and go back? That's yo-yo dieting, and most fats have done it at least once. Being fat is a viscous cycle. It's a tremendous amount of mental fortitude to lose the weight, and then the constant struggle to always do better and make correct decisions to not relapse and gain weight back.

It's disgusting. It's shameful. I hate myself. Every fat person should hate themselves, just like drug addicts should. You do it to yourself by overindulging or "doing it" the first time. The worst thing about being fat is how absurdly simple it is to consume way too many calories. Highly processed, calorie-dense foods are plentiful, easily accessed, and cheap. At least drugs are relatively expensive and harder to get.

How the fuck is keto expensive? When I did keto I did intermittent fasting and planned my meals for the entire week. Depending on the carb intake you can easily lose 15 lbs of fat in 3 months and like 30-40lbs in water weight.
