I know I can't trust yosuke saito because he always hints at shit that ends up being nothing, but both him and yoko have been teasing something in the works that's not mobile slop and even yoko teased nier r3pent at a concert in front of a large crowd that cheered fanatically after he asked how they felt about a new nier game. plus he did this in front of square enix executives. also iirc a square executive hinted at a new installment being announced during the livestream. I don't know if anything will happen but I really hope something does.

it seems like nothing is produced except by single-developer herculean indie devs or by AAA $500,000,000 studios where the game takes up 500gb
there's no organized medium-sized studios

No, I mean that when I start to like something it quickly dies off attracting normalfags and then either the fandoms get full of people who don't really like the game and are just gay kids who act quirky or the company ruin the game to make it appealing to the masses.

that annoys me about a lot of media. it happened to drakengard, nier, yakuza, anime in general, music, and subculture. it annoys me to no end when I see people (usually zoomers) say shit like goth or punk but have no idea what it is and don't even listen to it.

Despite I'm a zoomer i feel alienated by my own generation. It sucks because I want to meet people that like the same thing as I do, but I only find people who just act quirky rather than enjoying something.
