It certainly doesn't bother me with mine because if it did holy shit that would be a bad time. I view it much the same way as music, sure someone might have a similar taste or might like the same artist I do, but not in the same way. The music doesn't activate the same memories and feelings in each of us, but we still can try to connect via the music.
The trick for me was to realize my infatuation with Saber before she became as popular as she is today. I don't care what anyone, not even Nasu or TM and their bullshit, can stop me from loving Saber for as long as I can.
