Although it's likely at least one of her friends is aware of the nature of a monkey's paw and how it's something one shouldn't deal with. But even then considering the light-hearted nature of anything related to regular phantoms it's likely the consequences won't involve anything that dramatic. In fact it can make a good plot for an episode.

The only time I can think of was when she tried to fight an extremely dangerous phantom 1-on-1, eventually resulting in one of her friends getting injured trying to protect her. Of course she felt awful for it and did her best to take care of them afterwards.
