>How do you feel about the alternate realities of your waifu?I feel like this question is tailor-made for me, even if that isn't what you intended. Sheik in fact has many different incarnations. Sheik has one in OoT (and I will assume that the ones in the Smash games and Super Mario Maker are the same as this Sheik), there is her incarnation in the OoT manga, her incarnation in HW, and her incarnation without needing a vessel.
I have relatively recently decided that I will love all forms of Sheik equally no matter what. Sheik is Sheik. I do not prefer one over the other anymore.
Her OoT iteration is the one I am the most familiar with and the one I adored the most at one time. This was the golden standard to what Sheik should be like until I decided to treat all Sheik iterations equally. Although, if Nintendo were to make a new iteration of her, I would like it if they tried to copy this Sheik as closely as possible. This Sheik is Sheik's soul, OoT Zelda's memories/personality influence, the triforce of wisdom, and seven years of hardship and trauma under her belt.
Her OoT manga iteration is very similar, but has some different experiences and acts a bit differently. For example, instead of staying in hiding for seven years, she decided to pretend to serve Ganon to trick him later on. This Sheik doesn't talk with as much prose and is a little bit more cold to Link.
In HW, Sheik is different from when she was in OoT. This Sheik is Sheik's soul, HW Zelda's memories/personality influence (Zelda's personality and memories are different in each game, so this makes a big difference), the triforce of wisdom (however the triforce gets stolen and she doesn't get it back while being Sheik, so this changes her), and she doesn't have OoT Sheik's seven years are trauma and hardship to remember. So you can see why this one is different. She is more to the point and more energetic.
