There's only so far you can move the goalposts after being proven wrong without it being obvious that you never really came to your conclusions as much as you manufactured them as you needed them.
It's gone from "Rei killed everyone!" to "She allowed everyone to die!" and now you want an argument about to "returning to the womb and Rei's role in that". What's the next half-concession you'll make?
None of your claims are actually valid to make if you've watched the series. The argument I'll make is simple. The following statements are true based on the series:
>Rei doesn't use escapism herself>Rei doesn't cause others to use escapism>Rei advises against escapism>Rei was nearly the sole reason the prevention of third impact was possible>Rei has dialogue that strongly condemns escapism during instrumentality>Rei explains to Shinji what instrumentality actually isthen it's really impossible to say Rei killed everyone or that Rei at any point made it worse. If you remember from the series, the "bad guys" in SEELE were to start third impact without offering Rei even a single thought. In fact, they more than likely didn't know she was capable of anything else. I suspect you say this not because of what Evangelion tells you, but because Eva's clear-cut "avatar of escapism" is none other than Asuka. You want to get the heat off Asuka.
