Then reconnect them and rename them to PMX to preserve the original weights. Next, add the IKs, the half-bones, and everything else. Depending on the origin, you may also need to add the morphs using the facial bones. It's a somewhat lengthy process, but with practice, you can speed it up to just a few hours.
