I drew up the cast for the Cosplay Club in a set of 9 Newgirls.jpg, as usual for me. I planned on using most of these 9 in the final draft, but I ended up scaling it back to three.

Robin was originally intended to be the main character. The focus shifted to VP as I was writing.
The second-from-the-left was the girl who was playing Vice President (I don't know why I didn't name her). I was moments from starting when digging through my folders and found a dusty old chart of a girl I never found a home for. I altered her a tiny bit so she didn't look too much like Robin and recast her for the role.
Indian Girl is there because I've never made one, wanted to give it a shot.
I love the nerdy girl with the necklace. If I add any of the candidates who didn't make it in, it would be her.
In the dark jacket and shorts is a Random-all character.
A loli, because I keep trying to make Lolis but never end up using them.
And a school nurse. Because I thought it would be relevant to the plot at one point.

We definitely overthought it and took too intellectual an approach to the discussion, but I don't think that's a bad thing at all. I wanted Robin's stance to feel real.
