Police were comingg because of my call as far as I can tell they werent involved. Now Im home and slept on it Im wondering if he was just some old dementia patient but he was defs injured so either way spooky. No super rural rides for me for a while I think. Weird to think I’ll likely never know the outcome. Least I didnt get silence of the lambs’d though.

With 7 psi I wasn't able to get across the snow covered meadows near my commute on my Friday lunch ride. Lowered to 2.5 psi and went back today and was able to get across.

Went down to the lake today, winds were treacherous and cold but it was still nice. I try not to take for granted the fact that I live so close to it, so I like to spend some time there every now and then.

I noticed something about my heated gloves today. For the past few weeks they didn't seem as warm as I remembered. I cranked the temperature control to max and they still didn't feel hot. Also the battery was lasting far longer than I should have.

I washed them last night and they were much warmer today. Maybe salt from sweat builds up inside the carbon fiber increasing conductivity impeding the ability to generate resistive heat.

I guess I should wash them more often. I'd been washing them by hand, infrequently. Getting tossed in the washer didn't seem to harm them so I'll just do that when I clean my other bike stuff.

Nice ride today. Left around 3 am and it was a comfy 50F with some light sprinkling of rain. Ran the armwarmers which was just enough to keep me warm.
New taller stem worked good today and this bike is solid for now. Will go ride some of my other bikes tonight or early tomorrow.

Must have been misty today since my beard was wet after the ride. This bike is pretty slow but I got my 3 laps in so I am happy. Noticed more people walking and running today towards the end of my ride which was 5:00am.
Felt like a retard finding a good light to get a picture, and then realizing my phone had flash.

Fat bike yesterday, back to mountain bike today as it warmed up and started melting. Pretty much having to stick to the bike path as all the roads are salted and slushy. Rain tomorrow, then snow tomorrow night. Maybe that stuff will stick around.
