Every time i see a grown man on a bicycle wearing a helmet I see a cowardly cuckold, I can't help that reaction, it's a natural response, a feeling of disgust manifests itself completely instantaneously - a visceral and spontaneous reaction to seeing a pathetic wretch.
I'd feel the same exact way if i saw a grown man in a swimming pool wearing inflatable armbands as he tippy toes around the edges of the shallow end.
it's fear that makes men wear polystyrene hats when out enjoying an activity that kids all over the world partake in without the need for PPE, and every time they see another man without that fear (or the accoutrements of it) they are reminded just how pathetic and scared they must appear, and they are forced to concede that in this instance appearances are not deceptive.
Helmet = coward, it really is that simple, a worried frightened baby pretending to be having fun. No helmet = normal bloke enjoying a bike ride free of anxiety and feelings of dread. That's why they seethe, not wearing a helmet is a direct attack against their very being, it forces them to acknowledge very uncomfortable and terrifying truths about themselves and they will hate you for it.
