Too bad about that wingspan; I suppose that alone makes this a very impractical device, but it makes me wonder what engineers could do with modern advances in material science.
Reminds me of hydrocycles. I wish they were more popular and more refined because they seem like the ultimate idea for an affordable personal boat.
