Anybody have experience with Sealift Inc (not MSC). I'm getting hooked up through the union (SIU) after a bizarre series of chance encounters, and it's looking extremely good for me. As in gonna be hired on board within this week, right after my MSC physical is cleared tomorrow or Tuesday. I'm inexperienced entry level OS/Wiper/Steward endorsed, and this is seeming like an almost too-good-to-be-true situation. Just wondering if anybody else has worked for this company. Good chance I'm going to end up in Korea (50% chance, as three of their 6 vessels are there, with the other three being in Norway, Portugal, and Malaysia respectively).
Originally I was going to go for a 60 day/2 month stint, but I'm thinking of going a full 120 day/4 month stint, that way I'll have the entirety of the holiday season off.
Any info or experience is appreciated, if applicable.
