It has an extremely comfortable ride, it's quality made, not using thick rubber or excessive puncture protection.
The difference between pic related and a marathon+, or a gatorskin, in the same size is absolute night and day in terms of ride quality and comfort. Having switched between the two, I think even the difference between gp4k and gp5k in suppleness is tangible.
You'll also find that supple tyres tend to also have by far the best grip as they're expensive and aimed at people riding limits which require good grip.
Supple meme grabel tyres are just roadie logic but extended towards gravel riding.
It's pretty widely accepted that buying pic related is smart. .
