With that said, the pilot we just took at the rota navy base literally walked onboard at the dock, and disembarked as soon as we came off the pier and flipped the boat around, didn’t even stay onboard until we cleared the entrance to the base, which wasn’t even half a mile.
Also Panama Canal pilots do take full responsibility when they come onboard.
